Normally when anything is cheap it is of lower quality. Something has to
give.
Very rarely can you get the best of anything without paying top price. Cheap
cruises are an exception.
If you consider the difference between say a fourteen day cruise in the
most
expensive cabin on the ship with the cheapest cabin you would get a pleasant
surprise. The most expensive cabin would cost upwards of £10k plus and the
cheapest under £1k. The extra money buys a large stateroom with perhaps a
private small balcony. Your cheap cruise will buy a much smaller inside cabin
without a sea view. You may well ask is it worth spending an extra £9k or more
for a cabin in which you will spend very little time in anyway.
The second either party walks out of their cabin, without exception,
everything else for the duration of the cruise is exactly the same. The same
luxuriously appointed restaurants, the same food and level of service. You
share the same bars, on board cinema, gym, swimming pools, on board games and
activities. You can dance the night away to the same live bands or disco and
enjoy the same west end quality shows every night and have the choice of
theatre seats.
Your cheap cruise is identical in every respect apart from the cabin size.
If
money is no object it’s very nice to have a large cabin but not having one is
a small sacrifice to make to enjoy the most luxurious holiday. So an inside
cabin does not have sea views. So what. Everywhere else on the ship does. Not
much of a sacrifice is it?
Make no mistake. No shore-based holiday can ever match cruising – even
cheap
cruising. A buffet style or waiter service breakfast and lunch to a five-
course dinner at night are all of five star standard. There is a wide choice
of activities to suit all age groups every day, and ample qualified
instructors and child minders/entertainers. All of this and more is part of
the standard package at no extra cost.
If you want to compare any other type of holiday with a cheap cruise
remember
to include the cost of all meals and snacks [none of which are likely to come
near to the quality of your cheap cruise food however much you pay.] Now add
on the daily cost of activities [to suit all ages within your party] and do
not forget simple items like deck chair hire and parking. Every night on your
cheap cruise you will watch a different variety show in the purpose built
theatre of you can watch the latest films in the cinema. Forget trying to
match this it just isn’t possible.
There are many cruise bargains to be had. A cheap cruise is still every bit
a
luxury cruise. Find the one you want and there will be something to enthral
every member of your party 24/7 whatever there age.
More often than not a cheap cruise holiday if far better than some of the
most
expensive shore based holidays.
Happy cheap cruising.
